Les Misérables: The Dream Lives
The musical version of Les Misérables will be released in theaters this Christmas. It stars Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, and Anne Hathaway as Fantine.
In Soul Physicians, numerous times I illustrate the Christian life, lived in a fallen world, from Les Mis. This is a can’t miss movie and I can’t wait to see it.

RPM Ministries: Equipping You to Change Lives with Christ’s Changeless Truth
We went through the book of Philemon yesterday and talked about how the Bishop in Les Mis gave Jean val Jean the opportunity to make things different in his life. Paul had done that for Philemon by introducing him to Christ, and he requested that Philemon give freedom and equality to his fugitive slave, Onesimus, whom he could have killed or branded for life. Les Mis is an amazing movie! I love so much of it. Sacrifice is a big theme that draws me.
