Start Your Thanksgiving List Here
Pastor Kevin Carson directs our thanks with these words:
There are so many things for which to be grateful! Great things are everywhere. For those reading this in the United States, the length of blessings far outweighs things for which we should complain. I was thinking through a list this week which includes family, friends, church, opportunities everywhere, and more. But there is something much greater than this. If you follow Christ, begin your list with some verbs related to Christ.

In Praise of Jesus
Some have described thanks to God as thanking Him for what He has done. And they have described praise as praising God for Who He Is. In that light, there is no greater thanksgiving than praising God. Scotty Smith leads us toward such praise in In Praise of Jesus.
How Gratefulness Shapes Our Service
Thanksgiving, while focused relationally to God, also has a human dimension. How Gratefulness Shapes Our Service explains that:
A grateful heart shows itself in loving service to God and to other people. The more grateful we are for God’s grace and love in our lives, the more eager, committed, and determined we will be to love and to serve others—even when they are difficult and sinful.
